|Appointments & Consultations
To schedule an appointment with New England Plastic Surgery Group, please call the office location of your choosing. Our staff’s primary goal is your utmost satisfaction, which includes accommodating your schedule as efficiently as possible, and we make every attempt to meet requests for specific dates and times. With our scheduling practices, we strive to keep waiting time to a minimum.
If you are unable to maintain your scheduled appointment, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice. This courtesy on your part will allow another patient to accept your appointment time.
Co-payments or cosmetic consultation fees are due at the time of your office visit. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
As the healthcare environment continues to evolve, it is most prudent to call the office location of your choice to determine whether we participate with your particular insurance carrier. Depending upon the services you require, our staff will help determine if your procedure is likely eligible for insurance coverage.
Cosmetic surgical procedures are generally not covered by insurance, although reconstructive procedures and specific aesthetic procedures may qualify for coverage based upon functional deficits. The surgical fees are based upon the type and extent of treatment that you require.
Our one-time initial $125 cosmetic consultation fee applies and includes an initial extended personal consultation with one of our surgeons as well as as any additional pre-operative follow-up visits as deemed necessary. Should you be a candidate for surgery, an estimate will be given to you based upon the particular procedure desired and your examination. In addition, your initial consultation fee is applied towards the cost of your procedure. The consultation fee is waived for previously established cosmetic surgery patients.
For cosmetic surgical operations, your total charge can be subdivided into several components: the hospital or facility fee, the anesthesia fee, the surgeon’s fee, and the costs for any implantable devices that may be required for your surgery, such as breast implants. If laboratory tests and radiographic examinations, such as x-rays, are required, you may be responsible for these charges as well.
The facility fee, the fee for anesthesia services fee, the surgeon’s fee, and the fee for any applicable accessories necessary for the surgery are due no less than 1 week prior to services being rendered.
All regular post-operative visits are included within the cost of your cosmetic surgery.
If New England Plastic Surgery Group determines that revision surgery related to your initial cosmetic procedure is appropriate, the surgeon’s fee will be waived. However, you will remain financially responsible for ancillary fees, such as the facility, anesthesia, laboratory, and accessory fees.
We are now pleased to offer financing options on a variety of our cosmetic surgical procedures. Financing may be available through CareCredit®, the nation’s leading provider of patient financing programs and the only program endorsed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
